COMPUSA & tap WARRANTY TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN - NOT HONORING SERVICE CONTRACT San Rafael California INTERNET
Just called the number for TAP, they had no information on file for me. The gal oin the other end of the phone asked me for a variety of numbers in order to varify that the $3000 computor i bought was actually mine!
After she'd tried the
1. purchase order number
2. my phone numbers
3. the invoice number
4. the order number
5. the compusa customer number6. Serial number of the printer i needed serviced,
I figured she pretty much didn't have ANY record for me or my purchase.
I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH COMPUSA AGAIN and will let everyone I talk to know, I work in retail myself...and I talk to alot of people.

We apologize for the inconvenience, CompUSA is under a new owner ship, and when you placed your order it was under a whole different system and company. TAPS is not part of CompUSA nor do we handle anything directly with them especially now that compUSA is under new owner ship. There is very little to no control over how their company handles their processing methods. This order was placed before CompUSA was bought by Systemax and therefore it was placed in their old system. Unfortunately, we here at Customer Service have limited access to the old system.
