Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was ripped off on December 7 by comp-recycle in a Pay pal transaction. I tried to contact them but they do not respond. My item was a motherboard.

When it arrived, it was a completely wrong part and all beat up. The packaging was a joke.

I have reported these guys to the Michigan State Attorney General on their web site. I have reported them to the Postmaster for mail fraud. I have contacted my credit card company and notified Pay Pal.

I hope someone can get this band of jerks stopped.

Please reference ripoff report #116767 Bob James 'AKA' Darrell Elliott - Comp-recycle -DBA- "The Computer Store" Comp-recycle is the online store. "The Computer Store" is the actual store front. The name has changed but its still the same bad business practice. The name of the company is now called 'The Computer Store' Storefront Location: 1705 W. University Dr. #109 Mckinney, TX (972)542-9030 ask for Darrell I'm sure he would love to hear back from all of the people he's ripped off in the past. This is what happens when you screw people Darrell or Bob whatever your name is. This would have been avoided if you didn't make the mistake of screwing over the wrong techy nerd. Hope the information provided above helps you recoup any of your loses from the past. Sincerly, A recently screwed customer

Can't somebody stop these scammers?

I kept track of this company after my rip-off deal with them. I kind of felt relieved when I heard the owner, Martin Allen Cwagenburg had died. I was really shocked to see another scammer had purchased this company from his widow, and was continuing his scam. The comp-recycle website has been up since 1996. In all this time, can't some Law Enforcement agency in Texas do something to stop this Fraud? I know they have had many numerous complaints, Mail fraud complaints also. Why are they allowed to continue? I suppose there is always a new theif to step up and take the old thiefs place, but it shouldn't be this easy. Their website counter shows over 6 million hits. Wonder how many of those people have been scammed? Anybody out there have any ideas on how to stop these clowns?
