COLOR 4 U Painting Services Petracco Painting and Decorating Petracco Precision Mixing Specialists Ed Petracco Edward Petracco Agreed to painting services, took a down payment, texted a few times, and then never completed the work and disappeared East Hanover NJ
Unfortunately we were unlucky enough to be referred to Ed Petracco and his fly-by-night "painting" services. We needed parts of our house painted, so we met with him, agreed to terms and signed a contract, provided a $1,000 downpayment, and then expected the work to commence shortly. Instead, Ed Petracco exchanged a few texts with us where he kept providing excuses on why he was not able to come at requested times, and then eventually stopped responding altogether and simply disappeared with our $1,000. After numerous attempts to reach out to him, we ultimately sued him in small claims court and won (he never showed up). However, we later found out that he has done this sort of thing before multiple times, and we have no real way to collect since he doesn't appear to have any real assets we can go after.
I would strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid this individual and whatever he is currently calling his company nowdays at all costs.
