I'm sending an email because my numerous calls have not been met with a resolution. Let’s start by saying this process started in May of 2024 a schedule an appointment to have 2 recalls taken care of and to double check the check engine light which I was assured would be addressed. I scheduled an appointment and then was told there was no record of an appointment. Then in May I scheduled the appointment to bring the car in on July 8, 2024.for which I had to take a day off to bring in on that day. I brought the vehicle in on July 8th and the recalls were resolved. At that time, I was given an evaluation which I paid $187.11 for that stated the EVAP canister needed replaced received a quote for $702.60. At that time the parts were not in, and I was told the car was safe to drive so I took the vehicle with the intent of returning when I had time to get it fixed. The car was then back on the lot July 24,2024 on July 24th; 25th and 26th I left messages.
I received a voicemail from Matt, a service advisor, that the parts have been ordered and it would be taken care of. Then I didn't hear anything, so I called numerous times, talking to Jeremy and he told me he would get back to me numerous times. He finally got back to me on August 13,2024 called 2x once called and hung up then called right back and left a message. I called twice that day myself and was unable to reach him. On August 14,2014 I called 4 times leave messages every time and even calling a phone number that Jeremy gave me that has a full voicemail. I've called in the morning, early afternoon late afternoon, but still can't connect and I've told anyone should be able to help me. I've been more than patient currently essentially being without a vehicle since May paying insurance on it and being without the vehicle. I am just asking if it can be fixed fine, but at this time you guys need to work with me on the price which I still haven't been able to confirm because I told today through voicemail that no work has been done and that I had to authorize service today. Well, I called 4 times today if it was so urgent then anyone should have been able to help me, I talked with at least 3 people today alone. If you can't or don't want to fix it, then let me know don’t charge me and I'll some and pick up my vehicle. I don't want to go to the better business bureau or the attorney general or social media on this I just want my car back or fixed.
To top it off Jeremy has lost this car twice not being able to find it he has needed the license plate to find it both times it was right in front of the building. The check engine light is now back on, and the evaporation leak was not only not fixed, but the part that was originally advised that was needed was not installed. When I talked to Chad Mullin, he was not helpful with a resolution at this time have no choice but to go to the better business Bureau and the attorney general. Chad stated to me that he has been with Kia for 14 years and this happens with Kia's that the evaporation system is terrible. Whether that is the case or not, when you tell someone that it can be fixed it should be fixed.
Also, Chad was making excuses of it coming from a collision center please find attached the information from the collision center there was no damage from the accident. I no longer have the vehicle due to these issues, so the only resolution is to refund me the $443.06. Please find attached the independent information that the leak was still an issue. Also I’m only asking for the $443.06 back not the money for time having to take a day off for the repairs; not for getting charged for 2 evaluations when I was told I would not; and not even for the money I had to spend on UBER to pick up the vehicle just the $443.06 back, thank you.
