City Assure By Circuit City When battery failed they sent me a lemon battery that failed days after battery warranty expired Internet
Ever since Circuit City went under the service at City Assure (their 3rd party warranty provider) has gone down with it. Called 3 times in a 24 hour period with hold times averaging 50 minutes. On all three occasions when I was transferred to a supervisor I was mysteriously disconnected.
In march of 2009 my battery was lasting just minutes so they sent me a "new" battery that had a 90 day warranty. The first 90 days it worked great but just days later the performance got worse and worse. Now only 5 months old, the battery can only keep my laptop on for 30 seconds. This battery is cheap, doesn't work, its a lemon, a knock off not made to factory specs. I know its outside of its warranty but come on, 30 seconds?
City assure contracted with Technuity Battery EDI, they send crappy batteries that only last for days. I called both companies pleading my case but they wouldn't cooperate and their customer service reps were rude and demeaning.
City assure I will never buy another warranty from you and will tell all retailers that until I am blue in the face and hopefully you will fall off the face of the earth.
