Christian Carpenter Construction Walter Ray Cooksey Construction Walter Cooksey Contractor Walter Ray Cooksey stole $9000 from me when we wrote an agreement for a home remodeling project. Houston, Pearland,Sugarland,Spring Tx.
Walter Ray Cooksey was introduced to me by a regular customer at my job & he told me that he was a Pastor of a local church & a U.S Veteran that he was a Contractor & had a construction company (Christian Carpenter Construction) so I felt confortable having him do some remodeling work at my home. He comes in with another thief (his assistant Yadi who was going to build the concrete stamped patio) to ensure the work was going to be to my request.
I paid him $4000 to get materials & laborers. he shows up with some workers & brings material and while the workers are building the patio cover he tells me that he needs the rest of the money to pay for the order of cement, sand and the stamps for the floor design. Being that the work is getting done I paid him the rest & from there on he disappears & avoids my calls & keeps making up excuses dfor not showing up until I finally get ahold of him aprox 2 weeks later and comes up with more excuses for the delay.
I tell him that I want the work promised to get done & he agrees to come by with his workers to complete it. Meanwhile I find out that he was involved with fraud so Im concerned about my money but wait to see if he would show up like he promised. He shows up with 1 of the workers one day & tells me that the other workers will be there soon.
He then gets in an argument with his worker because he didnt pay any of them for the work done & quits on him & leaves. I tell him to just give me my money & I would get someone else to do the project. I go to work & he decides to come in my property to steel. Later in the day while there is no one at my home he shows up with another guy & steal my material that was for my remodeling.
Have it in surveilance but cops tell me to gather a few victims to procecute him. The address he uses for the paperwork is one of his addresses on the Southwest part of Houston. Im trying to Warn as many people so they dont become his next victims.
