Budget Rent a car- calgary Airport Charged a Deductible after paying the LDW fee Calgary , Alberta
I recently rented a Car from Budget Calagery Airport, on the Budget web site it says:
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) relieves renters of financial responsibility if the car is damaged or stolen while under rental contract.
Alleviates your responsibility for up to the full fair market value of the car if it is damaged, vandalized or stolen during the rental.During the rental a rock hit the front window. When I returned the car, they said ....don't worry about it, you have paid the LDW. Two months passed and I opened up my credit card statement and found a "deductible" charge of 300.00 from Budget.
The window replacement cost Budget 363.06
Between the LDW fee and Deductible it cost me $481.65
No Help from Budget Customer service when I complained.....
My advice rent elsewhere.... NO longer a Budget Customer.....let all your friends know the scam they are running!!
