BTO (Branson Travel Office) promised us a $100 refund after attending a sales presentation for a time share/vacation club at wg(westgate)(which we attempted to attend to full fill our obligation.  Also Part of the qualification was not owning a wg time share, in 2016 we bought a wg timeshare & cancelled the transaction within the 5 business day requirement because they tried to defraud us. wg refused to refund our $100 & sent us to bto across town. At bto I spoke w/Jeremia Froyland owner/manager at bto & he refused to refund my $100 & became very belligerent & rude to me. By now I have about 2 hours invested in attending the meeting at wg & driving back & forth to bto & discussing this issue w/various personnel.  VERY frustrating!  here is a copy/paste of their terms & conditions from their website:

All I ask is my $100 refund as promised as I have full filled ALL of my obligations.  wg pulled us out of the 90 min. sales presentation.

I filed a complaint with BBB St Louis, MO & Mr Froyland refuses to refund my $100.  Here is a copy of my response to his refusal:

I am rejecting this response because:

Jeremia Froyland initially introduced himself to me as a manager, (he revealed to me in the last part of our conversation that he was the OWNER), during our discussion with me Jeremia Froyland was anything but cordial or polite.  He was VERY condescending & evasive in his answers just trying to get rid of me the same way Westgate had just treated me that morning, not truthful & misrepresenting their offer.  As I stated in 2016 we did purchase a time-share & upon discovering they had mislead us about the unit we had purchased we CANCELED our agreement within the legal 5 business day window to exercise this right.  So as I stated when I bought this package I do NOT own a timeshare!  IF I had known this was a Westgate promotion I would have NEVER bought this promotion.  My wife & I took time out of our vacation to go to the presentation, fill out the paperwork, go through the initial interview, & was in the sales presentation when WG personnel came in & removed us.  We have full filled our obligation & are entitled to our promised $100.

Jeremia Froyland, the OWNER could have easily handled my issue instead of trying to pacify me with useless excuses & lying just trying to get rid of me. Of course whoever works for Jeremia Froyland is going to have to ask for his approval to pay me!  Instead, he chose to say he could not handle this issue & someone else who worked there would have to handle it later that week when they returned.  Jeremia Froyland did everything he could to brush me off & get rid of me knowing full well that I lived out of state making it difficult for me to handle this issue.

I have only attended 2 time share presentations in my life.  I have traveled to Branson many times & I have NEVER experienced such a horrible & deceiving experience while vacationing in Branson.  Until this visit EVERYONE I have interacted with in Branson has been WONDERFUL.  As a former 15+ year retail business owner I understand how a business is obligated to treat its customers, my intreaction with WESTGATE RESORTS and Jeremia Froyland owner of BRANSON TRAVEL OFFICE is a very good example of how NOT to treat your customers.
