I am speechless! Thank you for adding this Post. I was starting to think this may have been a unique experience for me, somehow. I am not sure if he even knows who is writing message I am creating. What gets me so angry is that he is preying on parents that are trying to do something to help their disabled child. The Kids, Young to Adults, he deals with are not able to advocate for themselves. I wasn't going to add this part, but, when we met, am almost certain he was under the influence (obviously an allegation that is not backed by facts). He could not remembers basic functions of some Medical Doctors (Endocronolgist), that he should know. We had to "educate" him. In most situations, I would have the conversation, immediately. But, he was referred to me by a brilliant professional.

We tried to work something out. We asked for a refund. We gave him $3500, up front. as he requested. Now I know why! He took my son to a recreational event, once, met with him another time, then, he disappeared. I left voice-mails, texts, spoke to another Professional that knows him. He just disappeared for 10 MONTHS.

Part of his M.O. is the promise of getting a 6 digit figure, from the government, to finance any assistance that my son would need. We did NOT come to him for that. We simply were hoping for help for our son. We didn't ask or expect a penny from the government. Needless to say, the process was NEVER started.

After 5 phone calls were made to his number, 2 voice-mails, and a lot of texting, I called from a different number. It was a miracle, he answered the phone. I asked him why he didn't return my or my wife's messages and requests. He did not answer.  So, I asked for a refund. He said, "Contact my Biller". I never knew he a "biller". Then he hung up on me.

Brad Richards may mean well, but I doubt it. He seems more interested in money, than his clients. As his "client”, it is almost impossible, to reach him. My honest assessment, is that he is unethical, unscrupulous, and probably less than qualified. The sole purpose of interventionists, and crisis counselors, appears to be skirting professional ethics, and state and federal laws. A Phd., or MD., per say, couldn’t abduct a minor in the middle of the night, and have them shipped to Utah, without being questioned. People like Brad Richards exist, so affluent parents can accomplish these tasks, under the radar. It is my sincerest hope, the federal government will crack down, and outlaw Mr. Richard’s "profession”. What he does is an affront to basic human rights and decency. I find it barbaric and unconscionable. In no certain terms can I endorse him. I am truly sorry. Brad. If you are reading this: leave me alone. Many people have tried to buy my silence. Many people have failed. Go away.
