Be advised! I took a friend of mine's son into Bally's Total Fitness Last year. He was only 15 at the time. After asking for a pass for to work out with me, I was told that I needed to sign a waivor.

Since I already had a membership that was paid in full for one year, I had no reason to purchase another.

The so called " sales guy " took Chase and I into a room and had me sign a piece of paper thinking it was the waivor. So I did, then was told I could go and work out. I did not see Chase for about 15 min into my work-out.

When chase came to work-out I asked him what was going and he said the guy had him sign a piece of paper too. I now know that is was a 3 year membership. I have called Bally's Total Fitness about this and will do nothing, it just hangs on my report.

This membership was not even used 1 time by any person. I believe this was fraud on a 15 year boy. They cant go after a 15 year old boy so they came after me.

I am now listed with a collection company called Asset Acceptance for the full amount of $ 1297.oo when the membership was never used for 1 min. .

Here is the kicker! The collection company wants me to settle for 300.00 of the 1297.00. Dont you think that if they were on the up and up they would want the full amount. This is fraud! or Blackmail to get you to pay for something that was never used.

Only until you pay will they remove it from all 3 reports.

Is there any other stories like this?
