After having cruises cancelled by other cruise lines due to covid, we were assured by Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line that they met all the criteria from the CDC to sail in Dec 2020.
They had 2 ships going to 2 different destinations. We booked them back-to-back requiring a 1-night hotel stay between cruises. We booked on 7/23/2020 with sailing dates of 12/14 and 12/17. We paid a total deposit of $200 for both cruises. The 12/17 cruise was cancelled by them.
We cancelled the 12/14 cruise on 10/20 as it was not worth the trip. This cruise was later totally cancelled by them. We were told we would have a refund by 12/29. Never happened. Their refund policy is 90 days. Then we were told we would have a refund by March. Another 90 days. We were given some garbage about having to wait 90 days, not counting weekends and holidays. Really???? This has more than exceeded 180 days.
Taking our money under false pretenses??? Could this be considered fraud? Tired of the run around.
