I left my car, (Tahoe) for some electrical repair, the repair was done and paid by me, Mr. Gambaatar informed me that he provides all car repairs, therefore I took my car back since it was making a noise of grinding metal, (completely UN-related to the previous electric repair).

He took the car for 2 days and I was having hard time agreeing with him to get my car back, after he said there was no noises that he could hear.

When I picked the car back, he told me this story that the hood fall on his head, and he got injured, I asked him to show me the injure on his head, however he had none, so I asked what I owed for the checking, he said nothing since I could not find anything wrong, so I thank him and I was ready to drive away.

Then he told me that he had to replace the hinges, (Spring system of the hood) of the hood because one was bent, and he showed me the springs/hinge, it was not bent, however he told me drive like that and come back in few day have to find the replacement, so I did.

During my driving home, my info on the cluster was indicating the car needed coolant, so once I arrived home, I opened the hood to add the coolant, with my sad surprise what I discovered was that the hood was completely bent on the spring vicinity and he did not even mentioned that.

I called him back the day after asking what happened he said the hinge/spring got stuck, then he said the hood went on his head, very confusing story.

To cut to the chase, I informed him the first time that he should not pull the hood from one side as he was doing, (please note that I have a lifted car therefore he could not reach the front end of the hood with-out a stand, since he short), because the hood once is pulled UN-evenly does not operate properly, he had to get a stand like any other short mechanic does.

He seemed to have that in control, however when I was back in there and he mount the new hinges, (repair not needed the old hings were just fine, but he did that to support the idea that the hinges failed), and I was seriously upset about the hood damaged, I asked him to repair the damage he caused forcing the hood the wrong way, he said that he did not want to do that and that he did not have to use a stand because he never does.

The bottom line is that he his not tall enough to pull the hood from the front end and he did that from the side causing the hood to move down UN-evenly and getting stuck, once it was stuck, he did not have the intelligence to understand that his action was not working, and he pulled even more, finally bending the hood.

The Hings/spring system, was never the problem, he was the problem pulling the hood on the wrong way, he is aware of it, however he does not wish to take responsibility for it.

I also want him to provide the security camera record of his place, to prove his funny story, providing that record will prove beyond any doubt that he damaged the hood pulling it down wrongly from the side and forcing it, and the whole story of the hood falling on his head and hinges breaking is bunch of baloney.

Be very very careful of this guy, he thinks he is still living in Mongolia and he can do stuff like that here.
