Auto Owners Insurance ripoff, billing me claims to have insured me after policy had expired without my consent Lansing Michigan
Nearing my policy expiration I requested Auto Owners Ins co to raise my home deductible to $2500 from $500. There response was a cancellation notice because I was having yard sales.
Therefore, at the policy expiration no contract existed between us. They say they kept me insured some days after policy expiration. I did not consent or agree to it, yet Auto owners Ins have gone so far as to turn me over to a collection agency in an effort to make me pay for something I did not buy.
Insurance companies have become so mean spirited many people,like me, will not file a small claim. They know this,yet they want that premium for a low deductible.
