Appliance Repair Team They didn’t even show up Toronto Ontario
I called this company on a weekend to look at my dryer. Moments later the repair man I’ve worked with in the past called me. I described the problem to him and he gave me a free quote over the phone. At that point I decided it wasn’t worth fixing the machine. I called back appliance repair team not even 10 mins after I called them. At that point they decided to tell me I could not cancel and I was on the hook for $80+tax.
Unfortunately they did not tell me there was no cancellation when I originally called otherwise I would have either never booked in the first place or paid the bill as required. For this reason I feel as I am being ripped off since they are now threatening collections. Also I never received any invoice or nothing at all until now and I got a collection letter from them instead of a traditional invoice.
It’s been almost 90 days since I called them. I tried calling them to settle but they were not having it. Buyer Beware!!
