Applebees Bad Service Covington TN
Fries were too salty. And this is from a person that puts salt on everything. One of the meals ordered was the double crisp shrimp which was supposed to come with two sides, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not served with the meal because the restaurant was out. We did not know that there was no coleslaw until after the meal was served.
We asked if there was any substitutions allowed, specifically a side salad, and was informed that we would be charged for the salad. A discount should have been allowed instead for an incomplete meal. The waitress was great so we cannot fault her. I checked the closing time posted before we entered your establishment.
It was around 10:00 p.m. when we arrived. The closing time stated was midnight. Why would you start closing down the grill this early? I should have checked Yelp and other social media before deciding to patronize your restaurant. The store in Covington (and other surrounding areas) are rated at 2 out of 5 stars. It won't happen again. This may explain why the Applebees in Millington TN did not last long.
