Ameriquest Mortgage Company - AMC - Deutsche Bank National Trust ripoff forclosure scam, another family homeless Orange California
Fell behind on payment, due to unexpected problems. Ameriquest didn't want any payments. They were un-co-operative in every way. They started forcloser proceedings. We, got house re-financed by another company to pay off what was owed to Ameriquest. We sent Ameriquest request to hold off on forcloser, because we were in process of getting monies to pay them. They ignored all communication and would not release the mortgage to the new company to pay them. They forclosed on 4/07/06. Their own bank, Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, purchased the house at the sherrif's sale. We tried to buy some time and applied for bankruptcy, but we were 11 minutes to late, to stop the sherrif's sale. No one is letting us know what to do now.

You are going to need an attorney. But before you do, stay with these Ameriquest discussions for a bit. Tons of good advice - from both predatory lending victims and from other mortgage brokers/specialists (outside of AMC agents).
