Cell phone companies are not babysitters. They provide you with ways to check your minutes in order to not go over. For Alltel- #668, check account online, or text MINUTE to 696467

OK, when you purchased smartphones you were REQUIRED to change to a rate plan called a SmartPack plan. It gives you everything you need for the smartphone to work properly and 99% of the time is cheaper than a regular plan with a data feature added to it. The fact you didn't pay attention to that detail is not the fault of Alltel. There is also NO way Alltel can reach all people that are over, let alone approaching, the # of minutes in their plan. That is up to, once again, YOU, to monitor.
