My name is Portia, and I am 78 years old. I purchased a Delphi Alkaline water filtration system for my home. After a period of time I began to see that the alkaline feature was not the way it supposed to be. I checked and found I needed to change the Filter. I purchased one, but I could not figure out how to do this. I contacted the service number and was referred to a "Ruben". He insisted that I send him the unit...The entire thing, including cords, cables, and the filter I purchased.

I did not hear back for a long time. I began to call, leave messages, and just try to get in touch. It took me ALMOST 3 YEARS to even get in touch with him. The only way I was sucsessful was by blocking my number and pretending I was someone else...When I did he began by telling me that my system was junk and wanted to sell me a new one. I said no.....Another period went by when I could not reach him, I found a guy Mike who spoke over the phone with me, knew Rubin, and claimed he understood my situation. He took my information and I did not hear back.

Today an associate was trying to look into this and by pure coincidence reached Mike, who is claiming that he, nor Rubin had any information to reach me. I have lived in the same residence since 1971, had the same number, and have run many businesses from my home.

I am one of the easiest people to find. Further Mike alluded to the fact that my machine was used, (I bought it from them new, and have all the receipts). We were told that there is now an outstanding bill to have this returned. Did I mention this was THREE YEARS AGO, and I never authorized ANY repairs, just to change the filter. What a Scam. T

hree years, and they are claiming that they do not know who I am. What company agrees to look at something, does something completely different, holds your item for 3 years, and then insists that you pay to get your item back for repairs that were not authorized.

Dennis, my partner of 40 years, aged 80,  recently passed away, and my health is not good, and seems to have been getting worse since I have not had the benefit of Alkaline water filtration. Who knows if this would have helped Dennis, they claim that this is life beneficial to you and your body. , but we will never know that now.

For a company to treat me like this is is wrong on all levels. It is nothing short of a Rip-off/crime for the pain and suffering I have endured not having my unit, and dealing with this very stressful situation, while I mourn the loss of my partner. I have never approved the repairs, nor expected any....I only expected for the filter to be changed, anything above should have been asked, and not just completed then placing my unit on a shelve.....FOR THREE YEARS...
