Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We recently purchased a brand new town and country from this dealership and had it for less than 4 months when the car had a serious problem where the cluster of the car would just black out and all the gauges would not work. So we brought it in to get it fixed. They said they fixed it so we got the car back and about a month later the same problem happened again. To make a long story short, for the last 6 months, we have had to take the car back to the dealers to fix the problem 6+ times!

We also contacted the manufacturer because we wanted to get the car replaced for a working one for which we are paying so much for and they said we did not "qualify" for the lemon law! so they have made us take the car back to the dealers again and the car is still there as we speak! They are telling us that they "think" they know what the problem is but yet, the car is still not fixed. We have called and spoke to service managers, sales managers and even the manufacturer but to no help with our problem with THEIR car.

Every time we tell them it should be considered a lemon since it has the same problem numerous times and all they tell us is we need to talk to our attorney's which is NOT acceptable at all for customer satisfaction, because they are not honoring their warranty for the new car. All buyers beware as the manufacturer AND dealership makes it sound all good but WILL RIP YOU OFF and give you the runaround when a problem occurs! Trust as we have and are still experiencing this painful and frustrating experience. BEWARE!!!

DaimlerChrysler NOT selling lemons! Sounds like a bad mechanic

My 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 (DaimlerChrysler product) has had only one problem in 3 years and 20,000 miles: a blown power steering unit. This unit was actually made by a different company supplying DaimlerChrysler, as I have found out. Replacement was not an issue, as Gene's Chrysler had it fixed in 4 hours! Sounds like the dealership has a bad mechanic and is trying to cover it up. Contact the local District Attorney (i.e. criminal) and see what they can do. Maybe call the National Highway Transportation Saftey Administration (N.H.T.S.A.) at (202)366-4000 (sorry, no 1-800...) and see if any federal laws have been violated, or the vehicle declared a lemon by the Feds! Or else, take it to another Chrysler dealership. They will probably treat you better. If you STILL have no luck, take it to an independant shop and have them call Gene's Chrysler at (907)452-7117 for assistance with your minivan. Here, there are 6 independants that honor factory warranties, in a city of 63,000. There has to be at least ONE there in Rosemead.. Alaska's lemon law is strict: 3 times, and it's a lemon. Period.
