I am 17, and i was looking up car wakes on the internet when I came upon Fire Glaze auto polish. I logged onto their website, and read about the new revolutionary wax. It sounded good, so I e-mailed them and asked how I could get a bottle.
They e-mailed me back the next day and told me to call them, because there wasn't a distributor in the area. So I called them and talked to Chuck Barnes (dirt ball). He tryed to get me to buy a $30 package, and I told him I just wanted a $10 bottle. He said ok, I'll send it free if you send me a Satisfaction Letter, I said sure, me being after the deals always. But then he also said that there wasn't a Distributor in my state, and wondered if I was interested. I said send me some information and I'll think about it. He did along with a bottle of Fire Glaze, and I did some investigating on the company, and it seemed to look good.( obviously I didn't look hard enough). The only thing I didn't like was the amount of cash needed up-front......$10,000.00. I told him I couldn't aford 10,000 bucks and then he said i could do a performance based deal. $5000 now and the other $5000 would come from sale of the product. I still had to dig up the money that I saved for a long time, but came up with it. He sent me a contract, I signed it and sent it with the $5000.00 back to him. We stayed in contact for quit along time, but 2 months later, I am still out $5000 and my Harley that i used for collateral with the lender. I am now planning a full out bettle to get my money back.
