Ace Wigs bait and switch but far worse Internet
Here's the scam. They advertise low prices outside of business hours, they say so that their suppliers can't see the price they are advertising. (maybe because they will get a hint of the scam and realize there is not profit at that price) But what they do is they send you the wrong item!!!! From talking to other victims it could be an item which is a lot less expensive, or the wrong color, etc. Then when you call about it they are rude and deny it. They say they will not replace the item but will give you a refund when you send the item back. They tell you they will send you a call tag to send the item back it then never do. If you send the item back anyway at your own expense the refund which takes over a month to receive is only a small portion of what you paid, their reason - they say it is because you wore the item. Why would you wear a wig that is black when you ordered blonde and never wear blond wigs, etc. Here is another scam they pulled on me which I didn't know about until after I made this second order. I called to confirm the item was available prior to placing the order on-line. They said the item was in fact available and ready to send from their location, they checked into it and it was for sure available. So I go to place the order to then be told it is not available, yet the still charged my credit card and never refunded me! In another case they sent me a wig that was used, worn out, and unusuable. They advertise on their website that people donate wigs they are not using and they will give them to cancer patients, not true. Those wigs they send to people who think they are purchasing new items at full price. Most of their customers buying wigs are cancer patients. The sad thing is that take advantage of people that are weak and vulnerable, fighting for their lives, etc. then rip them off with these scams. Very sad, they should be put out of business and put behind bars!!! ACE WIGS IS A SCAM STAY AWAY!

It is possible that the person writting stating they didn't have any problems could possibly be from Ace Wigs posting a phony response.

I read all the negative ace wigs reports with trepidation. I have ordered 6 wigs from them in last 3 months. All arrived brand new exactly as ordered with all original tags, nets and packaging from manufacturer. Some shipped right away. Others were back ordered and took up to 6 weeks to arrive. However...I was notified that they were back ordered and the quoted wait time was accurate.
I had several telephone and email exchanges with Kim from Ace Wigs. At no time was he rude or deceptive. I have no experience with reruns or exchanges, which seems to be a major complaint in the wig industry. My experience has been: I knew exactly what I wanted, I know my color and I chose Ace because of their low prices. I do not question all the claims by others, but wanted to note that I have not had any problems with Ace Wigs.
