I purchased a Maxtech computer in July 1999 from CompUSA in Tulsa, OK. It has not worked properly from that first day! I sent it in twice within the first six months. Both times they sent it off to another state. The 10 day project lasted over a month! From that point my monitor began to turn yellow, only one speaker worked, my printer only printed black and yellow and my pc only worked when it wanted to. I had purchased a "must-have" five year warranty. This has been a two year nightmare. In May 2001 I decided to go ahead and get them to fix my monitor, a month later I got it back. Within one week the thing didn't work again! This time I freaked out. I have done nothing but talk on the phone for the last three days. Today I went through an all out fight with the store manager, Allen Wolfe. Not only would they not fix it they only wanted to give me a $600 refund when the pc price was $699. Through an unbelievable arguement and a horrible attitude of the manager he finally stormed in and slide my computer onto the floor. Proclaiming loudly how he wanted to make sure that someone heard everything that was said and that all of our info was recieved so they all know what happened! This is a nightmare! No one should be treated this way! These people MUST go out of business! Someone should take them to court, I say we all do.
DO NOT EVERY BUY ANYTHING FROM COMPUSA UNLESS YOU DO NOT PLAN ON EVER USING IT!!!
