VCS. ripped me off ...BBB was NO help *REBUTTAL *EDitor's comment
I ordered a computer aug. 28th billed sept. 6th ... never received a computer ... called and complained several times ... saw another of there infomercials in mid december telling people that they would receive before Christmas if ordered today..
I called them and ask where mine was ,,, gave same old excuse that it was on back order... asked how they could promise on tv right now that they guarentee delivery before Christmas which was within two weeks ... Said it was a different model but if i wanted i could cancel previous on an switch to the new model...
I did receive a computor .... But realized one month later that i was charged again ... meaning i paid for two computers and only recieved to one... called them and they said refund on other would take 60 days to clear in credit office.. waited til next visa statement which was only 30 days ... tried to call vcs only to find ph. no. was discontinued... tried online and then found out that they filled bankruptcy.... Sorry to see how many people they ripped off...... quess im a sucker too.>>
i would just like to have my intial sum of $2092.32 I think that they should have to since they told me they would pay back all interest since billed on sept 6th 2000 Sincerely ripped off

This email is a rebuttal to RipOff #5334. It was sent by Ivy at [email protected]. VCS. ripped me off (#5334) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Ivy Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: This claim has NOTHING to do with the BBB! The person complaining doesn't even mention the BBB! That's total crap! EDitor's comments::::::::: Obviously, your either a BBB loyal member, a believer or you make money from the BBB, so your most likely the president of one of their many offices? Which is it? Your right, as the Report is written, BBB has nothing to do with it. The person filing the Rip-off Report just for got to mention that the BBB never responded back to the victim. The BBB was no help at all. Not surprising! Gee-wiz .. the Better Business Bureau has such a great reputation! How could someone make such a mistake, possibly tainting the BBB reputation? i did send into better business brueau ... still have not got no word back from them... i also called visa since im suppose to have protection against fraud .... they said i should be ok and get a refund to my card but still have not seen anything from either.... i quess this video computer store has gotten alot of people... i should of just went with gateway .... for what i paid i could have got a good reliable computer and the had the support to get me thru some of the problems i have been haveing... i learned my lesson;... you get what you pay for....and i end up paying double... if someone doesn't get video computer store to pay for the damages they did on people and there families , then there will always be companies out there trying to do the same thing... HOW DID THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS WHEN THEY WERE ON NATIONAL TV..... IF THIS WAS NOT A CRIME IN U.S. THEN WHAT IS...... I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING ON TV OR COMPUTER... CANT TRUST ANYONE....
