I purchasesd a gateway laptop computer in 2004. Purchased a 4 yr full extended warranty at the time. Laptop screen cracked. Gateway computers ignores any requests for information and refers me to MPC computers. Cannot find online MPC support and they do not respond to phone calls. I understand that gateway washed their hands of warranty obligations and MPC is bankrupt. Sounds to me as a scripted ploy by gateway to relieve themselves of their warranty obligations. Model M250x.
