BuyFixIt Total fraud. Billy May/Simonize? Never again! Blatant ripoff! Very clever scam! New Berlin Wisconsin
"FixIt" hired front man Billy May to do the dirty work. May has been seen on many TV adds and carries some credibility. But, not anymore. The box I received contained several rags, four containers of aluminum/stainless steel polish for car paint?). Four vials of clear (only) wipe-on cover liquid, 2-books of "free coupons" and two Simonize car vacs. plus an invoice that said, "packing slip only" (no itemized price list). A week later I received a bill from my credit card for the amazing price of $96 and change.
I called my credit card because this package contained nothing I needed to repair paint scratches except very minute scratches in the clear coat as may be caused by a lady bug walking across the paint. Oh yes! use this clear nail polish and make a complete mess out of your $3500 paint job. My credit card Co. got someone from Fixit on the phone. She was a clueless lady who said she was in shipping and only sent orders out to the addressee and she had no idea as to the shipping contents. Period. The TV add stated that this product would repair deep scratches in the paint. I was not satisfied, after seeing what I received, and I sought a refund because this was an obvious rip-off. Too late, as I realized I had been had by a bunch of weasles. They had my money and my credit card dumped the payoff on me. I will never buy another product from simonize and I sent the whole mess back to FixIt, but I dont't expect to hear from them. Buyer beware!
