I bought 4 tickets to Knotts Scary Farm on October 26, 2000. That night it rained incredibly and therefore almost all rides were not running. They would not give us our money back or even credit toward another day.

Cmon People relax. Why is everyone jumping on this person.I would be upset or bummed if Knotts could not at least switch me to another day.Even though I feel like Knotts didn't legally rip you off they did leave a bad taste in your mouth and I can see that from your point of view.

My family was there about the same(2000)time as your were. Yes,it poured down and lines for indoor activities were long. The purpose of this night is not for rides. There is a way to get in early: reserve a room at the on property hotel and/or the scary dinner. Your get in an hour before everyone else. My dsughter just went last week and I found this looking for info for my son to go later this month. I could not believe anyone would think this a rip-off, it is the MOST fun!!!

Stop always putting things down, just because you can't have it your way!

Knott's is no more a rip-off then any other money making place. True they have taken a lot of the values away that the family once had! when Ceder fair took over years ago then took the family values away. Halloween huant has always been packed since they first started it in the early 70's. When something is great what do you exspect?! As others have said, look ahead of time to know what the weather is going to do. They tell you way ahead of time there are no refunds. I have worked for the park for 2yrs and I would again if they would hired me back. I am 38 and I grew up knowing the family and all the different changes. As Orange Co. changes and becomes more and more crowded so will everything else, So stop griping all the time. from R. Stearns

Going to Halloween Haunt, due to the crowds, you have to get in line about 1 1/2 hours before the park opens for the night. If you come late, then you will get huge crowds. I always go early in the month, and early in the night, and I knock out most major rides and 5-6 mazes. It's a blast but you have to plan it out because there are a million people there. And about the rain?! It's the luck of the draw on that one....it's an act of God you know! And you could check the weather forecast before you go. :(

You bought a ticket for Knotts SCARY Farm, yet are complaining about the long line for the rides?? If you want to go to Knotts, just to go on the rides, do it another month out of the year, then you can have something to complain about. Or do one better, buy a ticket for a night that's less crowded, like a Thursday or a Sunday. True, you may have work/school the next day, but trust me, you'll get on everything, and at least be satisfied with the money you spent. As one of the monsters that work there, those days are completely empty. You'll be able to walk on everything, and not have to deal with the overwhelming crowds.

My family and I went to KnottsBerry Farm last October and we stood in line for over an hour waiting to be checked. But if you got to Wild Waves, Big Splash, DisneyLand, or any where els, that same thing will happen. We did wait in line many times, but it is more than worth the wait. And to you who couldnt get your money refunded for the weather, that's your fault. Next time check the weather forcast and don't go if you can't handle the weather. And maybe you should read the back of the ticket before you buy it!!! KnottsBerry Farm IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY!!!! t's not Knottsberry's fault if you chose a bad day to go. read the back of the ticket!

4 times in the last 18months, My son and I have gone to So Cal and Knottsberry farm. That included October of 2002. Each time I attended the park, I read the ticket. It says that weather can and does affect rides(common sense). We attended the halloween session and the tickets said the same. Yes it was crowded, to be expected. but the park is also crowded if you go during spring break or other holiday or any day with school trips. It is a "amusement park"! Go to Dinseyland, or Magic mountain and the tickets say the same "warning". They also get very crowded, lines are to be expected on premium rides. So for the person complaining, "GET REAL, AND GROW UP". Thank you Knotts berry farm for being there all the time I wanted to visit a "family park".

I bought 6 six for Knott's scary farms in 2001 and we waited 2 hours in line to be search before entering the park at 9:30pm. Then, we waited in line for rides 1 to 2 hours. We only went on 2 rides and 1 scary mazes..it's suck big time. They over send their tickets with to many peoples in the park. I will never go again to waste my money there!!!

Knott a Rip Off!

Knott's Berry Farm did not rip off anyone. When you buy a ticket, it states that Knott's cannot control the weather and that if it should rain... that you will not get a refund or tickets for another day. This person's report is a complete and utter waist of your time. Knott's Berry Farm is not at fault. I back them and Jack Falfas up 590%!
