Hoffmans 50 resolutions

W W (Bill) Fayette here.

10-8-00.

This you have to read. In law a few years back this is what a truly good & honest lawyer tried to live by and was taught in law school. I do not know weather this is taught in law school today or not. If not it should be.

Anyhow read the following

Hoffman's, 36th. Resolution. This is only one of 50.

If you want to read the other 49 send me your fax no and I will fax them to you.

Here it is.

Every letter or note that is addressed to me shall receive a suitable response and in proper time. Nor shall it matter from whom it comes, what it seeks.or what may be the terms that it is penned. "Silence can be justified in no case";and though the information sought cannot or ought not be given, still decorum would require from me a courteous recognition of the request, although accompanied with a firm withholding of what has been asked for.

There can be no sure indication of vulgar education then neglect of letters and notes;it manifests a total want of that tact and amenity which intercourse with good society never fails to confer. But the "dogged silence" (worse than a rude reply) in which some of our profession indulge on receiving letters offensive to there dignity, or when dictated by ignorant importunity.

I am resolved never to imitate-but will answer every letter and note with as much civility as may be due, and in as good time as may be practicable.

What do ou have to say avout this Grant V?

Thank you W W (Bill) Fayette

"ATTITUDE." by Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important then than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what ever people think or say or do.It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company....a home. The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past....we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing that we can do is play the one string that we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

Bill Fayette has lived by this for years and has always wished that he had written these words.

How about You (UPS) and (ACDM)

UPS Employees

11-4-00

W W (Bill) Fayette here today to see if I can get UPS employees and UPS Management to talk to me about the UPS's careless handling of my art work in shipment from Indiana to my home in

Ferndale Washington.

This happened sometime in August of 1998. I have pictures of this damage on the following web site and a few words about UPS's responsibility to me as to this damage.

http://automotiveart.bizland.com/bodyshop.htm

At this site you will see different gallieries to look at, so you will be abel to see not only the damage that UPS did to me, you will be abel o see some of my art work that made it through this ordeal on the trip home to me in August of 1998. Especially you Mr James P. Kelley.

I hope by now that my snail mail documents have reached you and the other officers of UPS. Would you take the time to respond to me,either by telephone 360-384-0297 or mail me a letter to.

W. W. Fayette

1372 W. Axton Rd.

Ferndale WA 98248

And explain to me why? I am the one to suffer for your company's negligence. Surely a man of your stature could do this without any problem. Being the CEO of a large corporation such as the United Parcel Service Company of America. You must deal with many difficult situations every day and I am sure that silence is not the way you handle all of your problems. You did not get to the top of UPS by standing around letting their people do the talking for you.

Am I out of line here? Do I have the right to complain to you? Do I have the right under the laws of this great country to expect you and your people to treat me better then you have been treating me? Do I have the right to expect you to pay me for this damage? Do I have the right to ask you and the Museum to repair these sculptures for me? If the answer is no to these questions , an explanation from you Mr. Kelley or one of your preferred speakers that speak for you should get a hold of me and talk to me.

Thank You

W W (Bill) Fayette

Re: Bill

Bill,

Thought I would take a few days off from visiting this site. Only to come back and see what's new (old).

Despite my disagreement with 50% of your discord against UPS, I do want to say that I had no idea that you were that old. I would like to apologize for some of the disrespectful remarks I made to your person. I never want to disrespect someone of your age and experience. I can understand now why you are not backing down from your debates. You come from the old school and an era that helped make America strong and United. I can respect that. This country is going to shambles and hopefully someday we'll command another era similar to yours, that will build it back up . Morally and respectfully. I still don't agree with everything you say about the logic behind your woodcarvings, but I'm not about to continue arguing anymore with someone more than twice my age. Once again I apologize for the nasty name calling.

I hope others feel they should do the same in regard to your age. If anything, you might just find yourself alone in this forum.

Take care Bill

***A FOOL IS BACK***

04-13-01

It says in Jerrey Spences wonderful book"Justice for none", the following.

***It takes a certain courage to be a fool.***

How about (that) statement, "It takes a certain kind of courage to be a fool."

What do you think Mr. Spences is saying in his statement here?

I think I know, but I am not sure, how about it I would like some feedback on this. I would like to know what the people think. Can we discuss this, or is it to much for you to understand?

In writing and asking this question, I would also like to know what you personally think about the Corporations taking over this country. You see someone has to rein in the corporations, or it is all over. Do you agree?

Could it be the fools of this world that bring the Dishonest corporations (the non breathers) down to the ordinary citizens level?

Talk to me.
