Today I received an interesting piece of mail offering me 15,000 in credit...for a GOLD CARD. I began to notice that there was no agreement attached with it, explaining such pertinent information such as: Billing Rights, Finance Charges, Optional Payment Protection, State Disclosures, etc., etc. I then began to also notice that I could have printed off one of these letters at home.
Whomever sent this out, made a mistake sending it to me. But what really gave them away was this: I called information and received a phone number for Capital Credit (714) - 881-7777...now you may say to yourself, "they are legitimate"....wrong. They are clever enough to have a recording on that states you will receive your card within 4 to 6 weeks. Now, since I didn't have a credit card number, I didn't put a credit card number in at the prompt...so guess what happened...another recording came on with a different voice stating, "you have entered an invalid card number. Please call back when you have a credit card". This was all to suspicious to me. ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT!!!....DON'T SEND THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR MONEY....READ THE FINE PRINT. THEY GIVE THEMSELVES AWAY. They state in the letter, "You may use your gold card immediately upon receipt for all purchases from credit provider". Who is the provider and why can't DONALD FRANKLIN be reached...if the provider can't be reached, what products are going to be sent to you..........let the cardholder....BEWARE!!!!!
