I purchased a computer from the Video Computer Store (Computer Personalities) in January of 1998. Within six months the computer had a hard drive crash. I returned the computer to them and a new hard drive was installed. This computer had a three-year warranty. Within another six months the hard drive crashed again. This time when I called to tell them the problem and to make arrangements to send the computer back, I was given the runaround for a few days.
Unanswered phone calls and being put on hold. I finally sent the computer back, and again, a new hard drive was installed. Now, only one year later I am having trouble with the computer. It takes about ten minutes to boot up, and once it does boot up it does not work properly. I called the company's technical support this morning. The person who answered the phone took my name and the make and model of the computer. She would not tell me her name. She then put me on hold for over an hour at which time I just got a dial tone. I would never do business with this company again. The computer is still under warranty, but I am almost afraid to send it back there. I don't know of anybody else who has had so much trouble with their computer. This computer cost me $2000 just two and a half years ago.
