Terry Montgomery/Master-Tech Computers Computer Repair Rip-Off Chicago
My problems began right up front. I hired a repairman on the basis of a referral. This man came to my home made a lot of promises and did no follow-through on them.
He ask me to turn in my CPU and in return would give me a new computer that he built with a laser printer and software already loaded on. After the week it took for him to do everything he had to do in order to get everything up and running, I paid him a total of $950.00. Then my troubles began.
I work on my computer for 2 hours and then it shuts completely down. The screen goes totalling blank and then I have to re-boot. Also, the software that he loaded on most of it I cannot access.
I have called him at his home and the number is disconnected. I have paged him and he does not return the pages. I have gone to his shop and he is never there.
I have also recommended him to two of my closest friends who have since then had the same trouble with this man.
At this point I feel I have been taken and so have my friends. My friends and I would either like to get our money back or get equipment that is working based on what we paid for.
