First of all: Sorry for my english, it still isn't good, I'm from Germany.

This is the first time I had this "mail in Rebate" and nothing works.

I bought a ATX 350W Powersupply at CompUSA with a 20$ mail in Rebate on it. I had to send a photocopy of my reciept, the original rebate form and the original UPC code from the package to Las Vegas. I bought it on 02/21/2006.

I'm still waiting for my rebate and now it seems that my rebate is gone.

I called CompUSA today and they that: without your form we can nothing do for you... we're sorry......

I still have the original reciept, but they said they can not use it.

I had to send this original form! This was the first time - I thought it would be easy to get my money back.

I have still an other mail in rabate open and it seems that there is my money gone too.

I will never ever buy anything with this stupid mail in rebate!

What can I do? Please help.

Thank you!!!

I just want to express that my english isn't good because I'm from Germany. Since a couple of month I live in the USA and I gave them my address in VA. I didn't move since I gave them my adress. On the form was the information that the rebate would take 6 weeks. The guy told me that there are no information about my rebate and I won't get it. To get my rabate I should send him a copy of the rebate form. But I have no copy... I send this original form just as well I was told on the form. Maybe it was my fault that I didn't made a copy before I send it. I thought it would be easy to get my rebate.... this was the first time I tried it. Thanks.

I have not had problems with CompUSA rebates. Most rebate forms tell you that they willtake up to 8 weeks to process. Being from Germany (and I assume with a mailing address in Germany) it may take you a little longer.
