When i turned 18 and began college i began to build my credit. The first thing on my list to buy was a computer. So naturally i contacted gateway, because that was the biggest name at the time. I was rejected by MBNA, but later contacted by HURLEY STATE BANK. So i took the offer. It was a loan for 1,400 dollars at 28.68 APR. Which is ridiculous. Also, the fact that this Gateway computer was 1 year old and no longert works is sickening. I do agree that i agreed to all of the terms of the loan and that i acted prematurley on my part of taking it. Buy still it was a rip off, and now i have shitty credit because of that.
