not so new 4 wheeler
My husband purchased a supposedly new 4 wheeler for our boys for christmas. December 24, 1999. This 4 wheeler we were told was a 2000 Model,Kawasaki Lakota 300. I went to pick the 4 wheeler up on December 24,1999. I had not seen the 4 wheeler so the salesman took me over to it and I ask him what year it was and he said "2000 brand new 4 wheeler". Of course my husband was told it was brand new. I mean for $4,100, it should be. Being a woman and not knowing anything about 4 wheelers and having the thought of how excited the boys were going to be christmas morning, husband included. I didn't think to ask for a owners manual or waranty information. My husband ask me to call on the 26th to ask about the owners manual. I was told that they would look for it and would get back with me. A week went by. My husband phoned the business on January 3, 2000 and was told "the man who owned the same 4 wheeler 3 months prior still had the owners manual" He also said that this persons name was Shawn and that he had raced this 4 wheeler. Needless to say my husband went back to to the business and talked to the manager and he said he told me that the 4 wheeler was used. BIG LIE. We still have not recieved the owners manual. We are stuck with a 4 wheeler that we have know idea how to take care of. Help us please.
