Gateway - HurleyStateBank ripoff
I happen to find this website while trying to get my bill with gateway and HSB resolved.
I too am being screwed by the bastards at Hurley State Bank.I bought a POS gateway(my mistake) b/c it was the only way a working guy like my self could get one seeing how I didnt have $2000 I could drop . Anyway, from day one I had problem with my bill. Charges I never heard of ,late fee's that werent late.Than ,I dont get a bill for over six months.I got online with gateway and told them "hey ,sent me a bill,if you want your money.Four times I contacted them.The morons could even collect their money from me by sending me the bill I was getting in the beginning.And you know,your bill is $50,$20 goes to your bill,and the $30 goes towards finance charges.Its nowonder a working person cant get a decent computer.
So here I am with my thumb in my a*s , waiting for these shmuks to send me my bill.Six months later,still no bill.I guess I got a free computer right! WRONG !!!! I get a bill from some company "Computer Finance,LLC" I call them and ask what the deal is.I thought I was talking to Speedy Gonzales' sister.c**t couldnt speak English.(I'm sure she could count American dollars though. I look at the bill,they want over $400 from me at one time.Do you think if I had $400 to put out at one time,I would have gotten a Gateway!!!! Hell no,MAC all the way.
So here I am ,trying to translate what ever the hell this senorita was saying.It didnt work.They didnt understand that nobody sent me a bill.Kept telling me they were a company that worked with the comsumer.They hung up on me b/c I kept telling them,"Send me the bill I was suposed to get and Gateway gets their money.No sir we dont work that way.I told the h*e what was up,she says"Are you finished?or do I have to termiate the call?
Of course ,that pissed me off.I was nice to begin with.
Now I will be playing phone tag with all three of these companies.B/c of some junkie that works at one of these places my credit is screwed.
This has got to stop.People work too hard and too long to put up with this Bank and finance company bullshit.I for one will fight,and I mean fight to protect my stuff.
Thank you for taking the time to read my little story.I know many of you fell the same way and are in the same boat with out a paddle.I hope all of us get through this with out selling our left nut just to pay these vultures.
And if you havent bought a computer through Gateway,Dell,or People PC yet,DO NOT DO IT !!!!! Buy a Mac or build a computer yourself.You get bottom of the line componets with an OEM computer.You get top of the line when you buy it and put it together.not to mention saving time and money.And time is money,for me atleast.Good day
