Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Do not sell your comics to this company! They will definitely try to screw you over. For instance, I sent them a comic that I estimated was a 9.2 - Near Mint and they offered about $500 for it. Once I mailed it to them, they said it was a 7.0 Good/Very Good and offered me $4.50 for it! HA! This does not even adhere to their own scale on THEIR website! https://www.mycomicshop.com/help/grading says that 7.0 is Fine/Very Fine. They gave no reasoning for the low grade. I ended up getting it professionally graded by CGC and it received an 8.0. The comic ended up selling on EBay for $600. I'm really glad I didn't let them keep it. At least CGC gave me reasons as to why it was not as high as I thought! This is just one book. MyComicShop systematically graded all 50 books I sent them lower than they truly deserved and paid less than 1/4 of what they originally offered. Rip-off!

Another ripoff report states that they pay a JOKE amount for shipping and that is also true. I paid $50 to ship my collictible comics to them and they gave me an $8 rebate. HA!!!

The only way this company gets quality books to sell to others is probably by ripping off people who don't know any better and don't know what their books are truly worth. It may be a good site for buying, but definitely put your prized collectibles in the hands of someone better than them! Thier profit margins must simply be INSANE!! Buying a book for $4.50 then probably selling it for $800 or so. Simply disgusting.
