I worked as a Driver's Helper for UPS in December 2016 in the weeks before Christmas to earn a little more money for presents and bills.  I had to go to a paid 4 hour orentation meeting prior to getting on a UPS truck.  They said we would be paid weekly, every Friday.  They did not offer direct deposit and said the driver would deliver my check to me.  At the end of the 1st week the driver gave me my check but only after I repeatedly asked for it.  I got it about 4 days late.

It has been 7 weeks since I completed my second week and I have still not received my 2nd check.  I called the dispatchers Derick and/or Brandy many times and they very seldom answer the phone (I've litterally called them 75 to 100 times but only got through twice).  The numbers I called were 512-928-5948 and/or 512/926-7982 for Brandy and Derick.  When I did get through they said that my check was there and that it would be mailed "tomorrow".  Many, many weeks later I have not yet received my check.

I went on the upsjobs.com web site and scrolled down to the very bottom and found a "Contact Us" icon.  I told them the story and a few days later someone called me and asked me if Brandy or Derick had contacted me yet and did the situation resolve itself?  I told her no one had called me but her and she seemed very taken aback by this news.  She said she would resolve the problem and that I should have my check within 3 to 4 days.  That was 3 weeks ago!  No news from anyone yet.

I did more research to find out how in the heck I could actually talk to someome in HR.  I found a number (((REDACTED))) (Jameeka Newton) and left her a voice mail last week (1/11/2017).  She still has not returned my call.  Christmas presents and bills were never taken care of.  DO NOT WORK FOR UPS AS A DRIVER'S HELPER!  That is unless you want to work for free and pay taxes on money you never received.

Does anyone know the state (Texas) or Federal agency I can contact for help?

You posted this report on 1/14 and claim it has been 7 weeks since you ended your 2nd week of work.

So looking at a Calendar that puts your 2nd week of work ending on November 26th.  Now, I don't know much about shipping companies but I believe that November comes before December.  I also am pretty sure that the "crunch" time for packages is actually going to be the Middle of December closer to Christmas.  Not a few days after Thanksgiving.

So why was the end of November apparently your 2nd and last week working for them?  This may have a lot to do with why you don't have your check.

Or were you just lying..umm "stretching the truth" of your situation to try and get more sympathy?
