MY CAR WAS LEAKING A TRANSMISSION FLUID AT THAT TIME. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, SO I CALLED TOWING TO JUST BRAKES BECAUSE IT'S THE CLOSEST REPAIR SHOP TO MY LOCATION. WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY TAKE A LOOK TO MY CAR LEAKING TRANSMISSION FLUID. AFTER THEY EVALUATE MY CAR THEY SAID I NEED THEM TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR! I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON , SO I JUST GIVE THEM PERMISSION TO DO THE JOB. I WEN TO THERE OFFICE AND THE OLD MECHANIC STARTED CALLING LOCAL SHOPS TO BUY THE RADIATOR PART. THEY FINALLY RESERVE THE RADIATOR FOR PICK-UP BY SUNDAY MORNING. I WASN'T INFORMED BY THE PRICE OF THE RADIATOR AND THE JOB UNTIL THEY LET ME SIGN THE DOCUMENT. AFTER THAT WHEN I LOOK AT THE BILL IT'S $1160.76, THE BUSINESS WAS CLOSING AT THAT TIME AND IT'S ALMOST 8PM. THEY ASKED ME TO MAKE A $600 DEPOSIT. I WENT HOME AND SCAN THE INVOICE AND THEN INSPECT THE BREAKDOWN. AND I NOTICED SOMETHING IS OFF LIKE THE RADIATOR / ORE 438144 THAT THEY ORDERED AT HERE AT LOCAL STORE IN BAYTWON THEY CHARGED ME $419.32, I LOOKED UP THE SAME PART NUMBER AT THE INTERNET AND IT'S ONLY $183.99; EVEN IN THEY MARKED UP THE PRICE IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT HIGH.

 

BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE. AND I KNEW FROM THAT POINT I WAS BEING SCAMED. I GAVE THEM A CALL 08/09/2015 SUNDAY MORNING, I ASKED WHY IS'T SO EXPENSIVE THEY TOLD BECAUSE THEY'RE TALKING TO PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE WHEN THEY ORDERED PARTS AND SOME EXCUSES. WITH NO CHOICE, BUT TO GET MY CAR RUNNING. I JUST LET THEM FIX IT SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF THAT SHOP AND FILE A COMPLAIN. ALSO THEY INCREASE THE PRICES FROM MY INVOICE WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW FROM $1160.76 -$1163.34, HE SAID IT'S JUST A LITTLE INCREASE AND I SAID BACK WHY YOU DIDNT LET ME KNOW FIRST. I JUST PAYED THEM THINKING IAM IN A PINCH AT THAT TIME, WHAT IF THEY WON'T RELEASE MY CAR. 

 

I CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE 281-427-6739, AND THEY ADMITTED THAT THEY DOUBLE CHARGE ME FOR THE PRICE OF THE RADIATOR AND THEY DCAN'T GIVE ME A RIGHT EXCUSE WHY. THEY JUST KEEP ON LYING. I ASKED THEM TOO WHY THEY REPLACED MY RADIATOR, I SEARCHED THE INTERNET AND IT DOESN'T SAY THAT A RADIATOR WILL BE REPLACED IF THEIR IS A TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK. HE CAN'T EVEN ME ANSWER ME STRAIGHT AND TOLD ME THAT HE'LL CALL BACK AND ASK THEIR REGIONAL DIRECTOR. I TOLD HIM I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THERE'S NO REPLY. THIS BUSINESS PRACTICE IS A PURE SCAM.

PLEASE HELP ME RIPPOFFREPORT! I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY BUT THIS PEOPLE JUST TAKE ADVANATAGE OF THOSE PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE WITH CARS.
