WITS is not NCCA accredited which limits the usefulness of the certification. The to 4 most widely known in the fitness industry are: ASCM, NSCA, NASM and ACE, all have the NCCA accreditation. WITS has been saying they will be NCCA acreditted for years but has yet to do so as of Nov 2016. They also require that you obtain 1 credit from a course on their website which they claim it is to ensure that you getting the proper continuing credit education, this is questionable, so they are say that ...even if you get all yoour CEUs from the top PT cert, ASCM, you must still purchase 1 from them as if ASCM is not good enough? This simply looks like another way to make a profit. Also, they accept online CPR certificatiin yet market that they are a "hands on" PT cert?
