Winebaugh's Competition Towing Unbelievably high charges for towing one truck. Pocahontas Arkansas
$7112.50 for towing!!! No one I have told this to has ever heard of such a charge.
I had a tractor-trailer rig driven off the road. According to the officer's accident report it was 42ft off the road. Winebaugh's Competition Towing retrieved the rig and impounded it.
Their bill for retrieval not including storage is $7112.50.

The 42ft pull was through a farm field,1 drain ditch and one roadway ditch(deep enough to stand the truck in), 28 miles from base, 30 degree weather,13.5 hour recovery with 2 heavy duty wreckers, 1 superduty wrecker, and a flatbed to haul the debris from the truck. Our objective was to recover the trailer damage free, which was accomplished. This is why we keep photos of every recovery.

$7100.00 to recover a truck and trailer combo is not out of line at all. Depending on many different situations can make the price of recovery vary greatly but from what i have seen in this part of the country the recovery fee was reasonable
