I purchased a 2 terabyte hard drive from Western Digital store on 9/1/21.  The drive arrived on 9/8/21.  On 10/13/21, the windows operating system detected a problem and shut down the computer.  Upon restart, the computer bios refused to boot from the drive because it's smart status said imminent failure.  I removed the drive and tested it in a drive dock and my software confirmed the drive was failing and had 39 bad sectors.

I contacted them and was to I had to pay to ship the drive back through an RMA process.  I shipped the drive back and UPS said it arrived 10/22/21.  I contacted them twice as it was customary to return a working drive in 7 to 10 days and they did not.  On 11/17/21 during a online chat with them, I was told they had to wait for drives to come in and some were now available.  Also I was told that they would ship me a drive by 11/19/21.  Well it is closing time at their shop, 11/19/21 and the status of my RMA remains at Recieved/ Processing.

A brand new drive fails in 33 days and it has been almost a month and nothing.  The quality and customer service is nonexixtent at this company now.  Their warranty is worthless.
