Weiners mobile home park False advertising Dania Beach Florida
This place is the worst. I booked my vacation here and drove my rv down 1,500 miles to the park. the ads promised everything under the sun and a bag of chips and review. s were 5 star on Yelp. I wish I had arrived during the day, it was dark and I was tired. I wish I had more time to chech it out during the daylight. I parked it. The next morning I had the manager at my door asking who I was. I told him I booked a spot, before I knew it I was paid in full. Then I got a good look at the dump charging top dollar for spaces in the daylight. The road is in disrepair,there is one washer and one dryer. I found out the beach is a mile and a half away. The ad says half a mile. I'll have to drive there and pay to park. If I had known I would have to drive to the beach and pay to park I would have stayed at a nicer park with a pool and gym and driven to the beach from there. turns out everything in the ad is false. Not 2 miles to downtown Hollywood ,it is 4 miles. Not 5 minutes to the airport, it is 4 miles to the terminals and will take 15 minutes with traffic. do yourself a favor and check the other parks first. it advertises a lending library which looks like yard sale leftovers. that is the managers idea of an amenity. My lot floods everytime it rains and the mousquitoes are the worst, I had to stay inside and cover myself in repellent. I talked to some other residents who said the manager has a criminal background and will call the police and will kick you out if you complain . He was very rude when I told him about my lot flooding. I got ripped off. Don't make the same mistake.

The Manager of Weiners was FIRED for "allegedly" embezzling money. Hmmm, interesting.
I agree with the other complaint about how bad the park is. The management/owners remain the same at the park. Good place to stay away from. The Owners knew his background before bringing him in to manage the park to do their dirty work and they got burned. The owners can't be trusted either.

Think about what "no vacancies" means..... People must be happy or we wouldn't be full all year around with a minimum of 3 months in advance as a booking. Proof is in the pudding as they say. Free BBQ weekly, free movie night, a business center with free postage, envelopes, pcs and library free wifi. Singalong nights on Friday.
If it is so bad, why are we always full? I am sorry you are disgruntled but our business policy is to keep people like you out. We are 65% single women and safe. The website accurately depicts us with current photos even of our monkeys. Do your fake news elsewhere.

This is so false it is laughable. We are always 120% full. No potholes, no one ever robbed. I do not carry a gun. We are always full. You can walk to the beach. Yes in fla, we cut our grass 2x a mo. Please look at our dumpsters and see if they are "overflowing". If they were, the city is strict and would fine us. The park is in fine condition.
NO ONE named " jean" has stayed here. We as most here do, have noseums and we spray monthly. All backgrounds are checked. This rebuttal from an ex tenant that was evicted with needles in her arms is just a way that she thinks will decrease our tenancy, yet it didnt work. We have had to create more lots as we are always overfilled. Fake names, fake reviews.
Come and check out for yourself. I challenge all. Talk to our tenants. Ill even be glad to buy lunch for all that visit. Our residents are very happy as always. Its a shame that ripoff allows such garbage and if a name was provided i would sue for slander, libel and defamation of character against a druggie even with no assets just to het a judgenent of 0.

Thank You Jean for posting your experience and thank you to the park manager for his rebuttle which is false, but without it I may not have found this report.
I remember Jean's story-so I know he stayed here even though the manager denies any negative reviews are from residents. This place used to be a good
low cost alternative to the fancy parks if you were on a budget. Now it is the most expensive park with nothing to offer. A shelf of used bathroom books is hardly an amenity.
I am glad that he downplayed the bad condition of the park and it's road, it sounds like an admission, he knows it needs serious work.
The question is-Why don't they fill the the potholes he knows of then? There are a couple long term residents that have not been priced out yet, none of them would describe the park as wonderful anymore. I don't remember the ad saying to bring boards to walk on for when your lot floods when it rains. The place stinks like rotten eggs from the swampy wooded areas next to it. And don't forget the mosquito repellent. The no-see-ums are relentless and make it impossible to sit out at night.
There is a cheap motel next door with prostitution, drug and crime problems that spill into the park and the police are called here constantly.
The grass gets cut twice a month so the place looks like a dump for half the month. The electric wiring is old and dangerous, some of the lots lose
electicity daily. It is no fun having no A/C or lights. Some of the RV's are sharing electric because their meters don't work which is a fire hazzard.
There is no deposit or background check-except for violence as it says in the ads. As a result there are criminals in the park since the new manager took
over. People with drug convictions and sex offenders are renting the mobile homes that were left vacant after the manager doubled the rent. He evicted some of the seniors (some here 25 years) that couldn't afford the doubled rent and they lost their retirement homes. Now there is a halfway house being run next to me.
The dumpster is usually overflowing and needs to be picked up twice as often, it is no wonder there are so many rats running around.
One of the residents in the park was robbed at gun point when 2 men forced their way into his trailer. Crack addicts come in at night and steal bicycles,
propane tanks and break into cars. Don't believe any 5 star review on the park, the manager Shady Steve writes them. Be sure to watch his video of the
News Investigation of him for wage theft. Search online for "NBC 6 Investigates wage theft Trump Doral". The manager was also arrested for Grand Theft- not someone to be trusted.
He also carries a gun to protect himself from all the people he has ripped off over the years. Before you consider staying here-DON'T. Do your research.
The manager belongs in jail and I'm looking forward to it, it's just a matter of time.

Totally false which is why we are always 100% occupied. We are a short bike ride to the beach and everyone here does it. We are clean and there are all of 2 small potholes near the entrance. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers.
The lending library of which photos are on our website as well as the parks photos prove you wrong. The library has pulitzer prize authors, travel, fiction and educational books, including all languages. Hollywood starts at Sheridan, hence 2 miles. Airport is still less than 5 minutes away. Time it.
No one by your name ever stayed here. There is a flooding problem in all of Dania that occurs occasionally. As an RV park, people know to put wooden planks over an area to walk on. We are in the middle of 2 wooded areas and sometimes the mosquitos, like all of broward county are heavier than usual.
Our park is wonderful with some residents here in excess of 25 years and we almost never have a vacancy because we don't charge a deposit and because of the amenities and people. We have movie nights, card nights, a free bbq twice a week. Sometimes the musicians even come out and play together in the front. If you truly stayed here you would know. If you did really stay here and you felt I was rude, I apologize for your interpretation. I have 400 tenants in 3 parks and sometimes things are rushed.
