Last 3 times I bought at store 5070, the shelf prices were lower than on cash register receipt. All three times, amount was a few cents per item. If each customer pays an extra dollar, Walmart is ripping off millions of dollars every day from unsuspecting customers.

This happened the last 3 times I went to this store and each time I advised the cashiers. All 3 different cashiers refused to fix the problem and insisted I go to Customer Service where I had to wait for

(#1) 24 minutes to get back $1.25,

(#2) 15 minutes to get back 64 cents, and

(#3) 18 minutes to get back 49 cents.

Time #1 was canned vegetables. Time #2 was Vitamins from Pharmacy. Time #3 was roasted peanuts. Each time there were overcharges from 3 different types of products. This indicates that there are likely overcharges in many, if not most of the departments. Also, the cashiers refuse to make corrections at the register, so customers either have to wait in line for long periods to get back small refunds. I believe those few customers who check their receipts and find they're being overcharged don't bother to wait in line at Customer Service.

I could print a copy of Walmart's rebuttal and the next time I get overcharged, show this rebuttal to the cashier and the supervisor who is sure to be. The manager will order me to move away from the register (in violation of this rebuttal's instructions). Then what WILL happen is after a manager refunds me a small refund, the manager WILL TRESPASS ME from this store and all other Walmart stores throughout the Galaxy. Again, Walmart is serving millions of customers every day. So multiply my experience by millions and the result is systemic overcharging to the tune of millions of dollars every single day.

Even though this complaint gives constructive notice to Walmart Store #5070 of what some might call Fraud and/or Conspiracy to commit Fraud, Walmart's spokesperson made no mention of correcting the prices posted on the shelves to match the prices charged the customers. Walmart would rather TRESPASS a complaining customer than correct this error, which by the way, is boosting Walmart's bottom line unethically, and most likely criminally.

Mention it to the cashier. They'll do a price check and correct the cost as needed. Simple solution.
