On Feb. 1, I checked my online statement to find a charge of $61.02 from Voiptalk. I immediately went to the web to find them, the # on the statement would not even dial.

I found out they are connected with HMSBlue, so i got their number also. On monday called both and was given the same story that someone had sent in a warranty card with my cc # on it, they gave the name of the person who had, and this was a 30day free trial for long distance calling card and on the 28th of Jan, it was billed out, auto generated thing.

The person who was on my card from Jan 10 til Feb 2, as I cancelled the card on the 2nd, she was put on the card as a business convenience and was instructed to only use it for one purpose or when i actually handed her the card.

IF Voiptalk charge is correct and it really happened, it means this person stole the # in Dec from my files, and I did hire her to work on Dec. 27 to do filing, we have cc#'s on all our faxes as we are in a retail business.

Later on Feb. 2 in our business mail we received a calling card with this persons name addressed to our business, the calling card was for a 10day trial calling card from DirectOne. I called them and they cancelled it, Voiptalk contacted me and said they would credit my account and they did that day, as today i received my new card in the mail and went online and Voiptalk did that day credit my account.

I have no idea if this DirectOne is related or not, and I cannot seem to get the same answer so as not to suspect this person to have used my # in December. She says she did not.

DirectOne said that she ordered something that same day and it generated a popup window and if you click yes i accept it will bill the cc you used to order what you just ordered. So i went online to the place she ordered a book and sure enough a box pops up and gives the option, although I did not click the box to take the calling card, I just happened to need soemthing else on the website of www.coolonlineproducts.com , there fore this is a test to see also if they bill fraudulently or not, i saved the popup box and there is no way i clicked accept. If they bill me on this purchase which i used another card, I will report it. I would really like to know for sure what the events above really were and how they are related if they are, DirectOne and Voiptalk, my cc did say Voiptalk.
