Dear Sir

In September 2000, I was stationed Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. I received PCS orders from the United States Navy assigning me to Yokosuka, Japan. At the time my cell phone carrier was Voicestream. I had service with Voicestream because I was told by a sales representative that if I deployed anywhere where their service did not cover that I could breech the contract with no penalty, if I provided them with a copy of my PCS orders.

In 2001, I showed sales representative my orders paid the final bill and they terminated the contract. At the time Voicestream did not provide coverage in Yokosuka, Japan. It has been five years since this transaction.
Recently, I checked my credit reports and found out that a collection agency name Plaza Associates representing Voicestream put an outstanding debt on my credit report and documented that they had tried to contact me 53 times. I have never received any collection from Voicestream nor Plaza Associates.

I contacted the agency and talked to a lady, who identified herself as Christine Gunter, she informed me that the company did not buy this false debt but, her company Associate Plaza was hired by Voicestream, who is currently T-mobile to collect. I have tried numerous telephone numbers to T-mobiles corporate office and listen to many telephone menus and rarely have I talked to a live person. When I did, they did not know where to direct me to help me clear this up.

I am now in the process of trying to buy a home and I really need someone to help me solve problem. I purchased the Voicestream plan because of their promise to take in the considerations military members' circumstance.
This small mistake is making a large impact on my credit score. It with humility and respect that I ask for your help after doing all I know to help myself. Please help me.
