Complaint Review: VIP Night Vision HD Glasses

This company advertised "Buy One Night Vision HD, Get One Free" Today $29.95". It is not until you place the order that you realize you are being charged $29.95 for each set of glasses. The advertisement also stated that if there was a cancellation within one hour after the order, the transaction would be voided. I cancelled immediately by e-mail. I did it a number of times and kept copies of my requested cancellations. I even e-mailed a threat to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas for deceptive and unfair trade practices.

I eventually received a response saying it would not be necessary to contact the Attorney General because the order was being cancelled. The e-mail (dated Dec. 23, 2017) stated: "We have issued a refund in the amount of $59.90 Trans-ID: charge_AA69CC163L1E1EFF48FA". I then received a communication that the order could not be cancelled soon enough to stop the mail-out, but that I should keep the glasses due to being inconvenienced.

A number of times I stated in writing that if the charge was on my credit card, I would pursue legal action. The last message I received stated:"There's nothing to worry we assure that there will be no more additional charges will be billed to you, what we strongly suggest is to keep the product". Well, guess what? I was charged $59.90 for the two sets of glasses on my Feb. 2018 VISA statement. I am going after these people. It has been one lie after another.
