Complaint Review: Valley West Inn

In November of 2017 we moved into my West Inn, I was working as an investigator for a law firm. The first few days there we were already asked for drugs by guests. We noticed drugs, drug use, prostitution, and human /sex trafficking. We brought this to there attention and also showed pics and videos of all the mold and breathing problems within the hotel, my wife, son, and dog got very I'll in the winter from being inside more. After we brought this to there attention they tried to illegally have us removed, which we have audio and video recordings also, to no a Vail. We paid on time every week and sometimes 2 to 3 weeks in advance.

We had heard because we brought all this to the prior GM that Jill was going to keep our deposit (and they have a history of doing this) because WE caused so many issues with the mold inside etc. We have that on recording as well. So on July 1, we did a walkout video showing how clean it was on leaving because we had heard, they will tell you staff will look in the room in a couple days giving them time to trash it. They said after I said we had video but the video didn't show the bedding and sheets, again, I said that we have pics and videos and WE never used there bedding because it was already NASTY. What they do is,

keep your deposit and instead of buying new sheets, they just re wash them and use them for the next guest and will charge them there whole deposi. This is deceptive and illegal, we decide when we moved out to give them there 30 days to give us an itemized statement but nothing ever happened. So there using this tactic which they do on everyone. I am currently working with the police chief from West Des Moines and city officials to help is figure this out.
