Complaint Review: Upstate Auto Credit

Went to upstate auto credit cause of not so perfect credit. Expecting a couple problems due to my poor credit. Was assured that with their connection with Dorschel automotive Group and thirty lenders no problem with financing. After putting $600.00 down plus another $400.00 after approved. Well after a week of them researching my whole past and present calling references job etc. No financing in place. So I went to a another auto financing place to give it a shot and figuring slim chance after that experience. But what have I got to loose a little time. Long story short ,pay stub proof of residence small down payment with no trade in.

Test drove a car I liked gave them $400.00 down. Went home this was Saturday afternoon dealer called me within a hour. Said get insurance card and binder faxed over to them pick up your car on Monday afternoon!! Wow I was Shocked to say the least. After a great car buying experience for a person with not so perfect credit the fun was soon over. I needed my $600.00 dollar down payment to finish the deal. Went to Upstate auto credit to get the downpayment back being unable to finance me said it will take a week or more for me to receive a check in the mail. Yeah I'm still waiting. Stay away if you want a better car buying experience with not so perfect credit go to Santa motors. Great people.
