UPS (United Parcel Service) UPS or United Parcel Service We shipped an item on UPS . It was a transfer case from a 2005 VW Toureg (very expensive) that weighed 120 pounds and is large. On the 4th delivery attempt the item mysteriously disappeared from the actual box. We fully insured the item with UPS. UPS has refused our claim saying it was improperly packaged when it wasnt. UPS has damaged my item and threw the item away and denied my claim. UPS cant even give my item back cause they threw it away and wont pay me for the item. So to summarize- UPS lost our package, found it, broke it, and threw it away and is refusing to pay us for it. We are dumping UPS after 25 years and will go with FedEX. Folks- I wouldnt use UPS anymore and if you are- consider switching. UPS's customer service is horrible now and when UPS screws up they just screw you over.
