I flew United from DC to Toronto. I was scheduled to arrive at 4PM and Arrived at 2:00 AM. I missed a team practice and was cut. Then United managed to loose my luggage including my sports gear and the suit I had planned to wear to a meeting the next day. United offered to reimburse $30.00 for a new suite. I told them that was a load of BS and asked to speak to a manager. The redneck on the phone said his manager was not in, and was unable to transfer me to his voicemail. Give me a break. I ended up having to buy new clothes in Newark airport which totaled over $300.00. It wasn't even a suite! Just golf pants, a collared shirt and a pair of shoes. I sent copies of my receipts to United who conveniently never gets back to me. I call them once a month to get some kind of reimbursement but I get transferred around and eventually some one tells me to send another copy or I will receive some paperwork in the mail. What a crock.
