Based on an ad in the newspaper, we scheduled this company to clean and sanitize 7 air ducts. Since we have ten, we paid an additional $9.95 for the remaining three.

The technician was very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. He was diligent with what he did do while he was on premise.

After re-reading the advertisement, we noted that he did not perform one listed task. The ad stated that he would 1. "brush vac/coil" with an asterisk for footnote "if accessible". 2. "clean condensate pan". The technician did not go into the attic. He did take great pains to explain how he "thinks" the unit is installed and what he feels the accessibility is.

I called the company the next day and advised them of the situation. They cheerfully agreed to send the technician out again. On the day he was re-scheduled, he called and proceeded to tell us that he did do all the work and that we did not pay him for any more. We tried to explain to him that he did not perform one listed action. We asked him if he had even read the ad. He stated, "yes, I've read the ad". He then began telling us that he could not access the coil or pan. He was asked how he knows that since he did not even go to the attic. He acknowledged that he did not access the attic but since we were not going to pay them to do the work that is the way it is.

We ended the conversation and we are still seething.
